Because my parents told me to update :D

Well, people say a picture is worth 1,000 words. That's a really good thing because there is no way i am writing about everything that has happened since my last update on July 10th. Okay. here are some photos and stuff you can look at:

Oh! this reminds me. this is a really funny, awesome story that i think you all will appreciate. Last night my host brother went out with his girlfriend and he got the car stuck in the snow and then his car battery died and $70 later thanks to being towed, was home at 1:00 in the morning. hahahahhaa. he is the definition of a rookie. Anyways, continuing on….

Half-Way point!

Well, seeing as how i have not updated for almost two months, i saw it fitting to update since this is kind of like the half-way point for me. Ahh! i can't even say that- its terrible! New Zealand is amazing! Its so hard to try and explain it though because so much has happened in just those two months. I'm hoping that some pictures will show you what i've been up to, instead of me typing a book right now:

Bush Walk

Welpps, new zealand is going so fast. I've been here for just over 100 days. Crazy? very.

I can't really be bothered taking time out of my day to update this frequently but last sunday i went on a bush walk with my mom and dad and dog, Schuki. So here's a photo of this scary as bridge that looked like it was going to fall apart!

South Island Trip

Well the South Island Trip turned out to be a big success.
i managed to run up the World's steepest street, go swimming with wild dolphins, learn how to surf, white water rafting and a tour of thee exclusive cadbury chocolate world :) plus, i made some great friends from all over the world!
The S.I was like nothing i have ever seen. Traveling on a coach bus for up to 6 hours a day and not seeing one house. Being able to fill my waterbottle up from clear blue, clean river water, learning the words to the Haka. I'd love to go into details of every little bit of the 10 day journey, but then this blog would turn into a book. All i can say is even though it was a tad on the expensive side, it was well worth it. I would recommend NZET (the organization i went with) any day. Although, i was exhausted i met my dad today at the airport, gave him a big hug, and fell asleep on the way home. I gave my mom a big hug too and my brother ran and got some fish n' chips and it was just a great feeling. i carried my bags to my room only to find a big desk in the corner of my room. my host parents had surprised me by buying a desk so i no longer had to do my homework on my bed. Its great to be home, for sure :)
